Analysis of the reasons why electromagnetic ball valve cannot be closed

There may be two reasons why the solenoid valve cannot be closed

First, physical obstacles, such as some gravel, dead leaves, and branches, prevent the complete sealing of the membrane. After removing these obstacles, it is necessary to check whether the membrane and accessories are damaged.

The second is that the pressure acting on the upper diaphragm is too small, which may be due to the following reasons:

1. The inlet filter of the diaphragm chamber is blocked. This will prevent water from entering the upper diaphragm chamber and will not generate sufficient water pressure to close the diaphragm.

2. The flow regulating handle is raised too high (maximum opening). In this way, under low flow/pressure conditions, the membrane may be suspended in a high position and cannot be sealed.

3. The sealing between the upper and lower valve bodies of the electromagnetic ball valve is not tight. Water can easily seep out of it, which is not conducive to generating sufficient pressure to close the membrane.

4. The electromagnetic ball valve is in the manual water discharge state. There are two manual operation methods for commonly used electromagnetic ball valves (internal water discharge and external water discharge). External water discharge is generally easy to identify, while internal water discharge is not easy to detect for ordinary customers.

5. There are perforations in the diaphragm (only referring to downstream valves). Insufficient pressure cannot be generated in the upper diaphragm chamber to close the diaphragm. Check carefully and replace the diaphragm if necessary. 6. The installation direction of the solenoid valve is incorrect. The direction of the arrow on the electromagnetic ball valve is the direction of water flow.
